Hi, I'm Meagan!
I’m a birth doula, childbirth educator, and student midwife with a passion for supporting physiology and women-centered decision making. I became a “birth nerd” in 2009 while preparing for the birth of my first baby, and I haven't stopped learning since! I live in northwest Austin with my husband, three kids, and two rescue dogs. In my (rare) free time, I love to explore food, dance, and nature.

I want new parents to feel calm and confident.
What drives me...
I’m a seeker who strives for constant improvement and loves to know the “why.” Together, we will examine common birth practices and beliefs about pregnancy. I love to work with people who are doing their own research and are open to new ideas.
My common thread is simplicity. Birth works best when left alone, and I strive to create an environment for your birth that supports your physiology and desires. I find that less is often more when supporting birth.
My Background & Training
After birthing my first son at home in 2010, I became passionate about making sure mothers are supported by a birth team that honors their desires. In order to provide that model of care to all birthing people, I began my doula training in the summer of 2020.
Following traditional practices has led to more connection and ease in my life. I focus on holistic health through nutrition, movement, and mindset. I am committed to diversity, advocacy, and support through all phases of reproductive life. In the summer of 2022, I started my journey to become a home birth midwife to improve access to the midwifery model of care for all.
